Ace boxer, Braimah Kamoko aka Bukom Banku has made a startling revelation on Hitz Fm with Dr. Pounds over the weekend with regards to the much-talk about revenge or repeat fight t happened between him and Ayitey Powers last year in Kumasi. According to Bukom Banku, he received only GHC 25,000 from D Black and Joy Daddy but not GHC 100,000 which was speculated in the media, and that he is even looking for a lawyer to sue D Black.
When asked by the host Dr. Pounds whether he has received the GHC 100,000 which was written on the cheque after the bout, he said;
“Master, my name is Braimah Kamoko aka. Bukom Banku, if somebody said he has given me 100,000ghc, the person should show his face. After the fight, D Black gave me only GHC 25,000”.He however disclosed that he is looking for a lawyer to help him sue D black, and that it’s been long overdue, he wants the remaining as well as he wants to also go to South Africa.
He continued, “Nobody gave me GHC 100,000, they gave me only the range rover. Even they promised they would flew me to South Africa, up till now, I haven’t been to the South Africa as well. Anytime I tried reaching D Black, all they would tell me is that, he has travelled to America, everyday America”.
He said, “I swear by the Holy Qur’an. If there is any lawyer out there who can help me sue D Black and Joy Daddy, the person should please come to my rescue.” He ended.Bukom Banku and Ayitey Powers fought on Boxing Day last year in a bout termed as ‘Repeat or revenge’ where Bukum was declared the winner.
