Sonnie Badu’s intended help for struggling artiste Yaw Siki has been channelled into other charity projects, the former states in an Instagram post.
It comes on the back of Siki rejecting the ‘Baba’ performer’s help because he felt it was ‘dishonourable’ that the offer was made public just for human praise.
“If he truly wanted to assist, he could have contacted me first without making it public. I’m not in support of that because my Christian beliefs are against that so upon careful consideration, I had to turn down the offer.” Yaw told Graphic Showbiz in an interview.
When news reached Sonnie about Yaw Siki’s decision, he responded via his Official Instagram account, stating that he made his offer public because he read about his plight on Social Media after he granted an interview which was public.
Siki’s decision means the help ‘allocated’ for him has gone to support other charity projects.
Having said this , what ever was allocated for him has gone into other charitable projects… We wish him well in all his endeavors … It’s still a great thing to serve the Lord so it’s a good decision and step he took since there is nothing in the secular world.
