#DJSTYCHLive || Kofas{@mykofiasamoah} Grateful To Initiator of Amakye & Dede Court Brouhaha

Kofi Asamoah, C.E.O of Kofas Media, has shown gratitude to whoever is behind the buzz surrounding Amakye Dede’s threat to sue producers of the most anticipated movie of the moment, Amakye & Dede.
Few weeks ago, news of Amakye Dede’s displeasure in the use of his name without permission in the Amakye & Dede movie and his plans to take legal action against the producers of the movie was all over Ghanaian media platforms.
The reply by the producer of the movie to be ever ready to face any court charges if the Highlife legend goes ahead to sue his production house, also sparked up another controversy and again had the Amakye & Dede movie discussed by all and sundry.
Finally on Hitz FM’s morning show, hosted by KMJ, Amakye Dede denounced ever stating or mentioning to anybody attempts to sue the Amakye & Dede movie producers and does not even know who is behind those speculations.
Speaking to Flex Newspaper on the whole turnout of Amakye Dede’s declaration on his supposed legal action, Kofi Asamoah who was glad they did not end up in court, was also grateful to the anonymous person who fueled the rumor.
“After all that has happened, we are still focusing on the Amakye & Dede movie. Our intention behind the movie is not to bring Amakye Dede’s name into disrepute. Now that rumors to sue us have been debunked by Amakye Dede, we thank the person who started this. The person has helped us to promote our Amakye & Dede movie,” Kofi Asamoah said.
Amakye & Dede tells the story of two childhood friends, Kalybos (Amakye) and Majid Michel (Dede) who attended the same school, worked together and eventually fell in love with the same lady (Ahuofe Patri).
